When clocks use to go tick tock, I would put the bedroom clock in a draw covered over with clothes to smother the sound. Quiet, dark, and cool– paradise hours!
Yes! It’s all in how we each interpret a sound. Silence, cool (not A/C) and dark for me- great sleeping conditions.
Ring in the New Year, Tamara. I’m looking forward to learning from your botanical blog in 2013.
You are heading for a nice botanical book with great text, unexpected cross references and lovely art links.
Clocks are my favourite symbol! Time marches on…
A Slovene proverb says: Clock goes, but doesn’t say anything…..
I like the way the clocks are all showing a different time. Happy New Year.
Maybe they are set to time of different countries.
That may well be what is going on!
All the best in 2013!

For me the sound of a clock is a calming one
