Ah, makes me think of home in the Central Valley of California (where it is VERY hot). These grow so well that they plant them on the freeway medians to make the drive more colorful. I haven’t seen one since we moved to the cooler climate of the Monterey Peninsula.

I wish I could post even the scent of all those oleanders growing here in Portorož! This pink one is from our garden , overlooking Piran bay, in full blossom each year, no matter how much we cut it.
