High summer certainly is not the time for roses but strolling Portorose on an.early morning I couldn’t resist not to take some pics.Portorose rosarium is not a  big one but it is quiet in the city centre
What is even nicer is the hole Portorose is planted with roses, flowering from.the beginning.of May till late summer as the climate here is mild. The only thing I would change not beehing just a visotor here is I would have all the roses named -and wish the tourists eould not steal these signs……….

I took these pictures early in the morning indeed,I just like walking my dog down there when tourists still have their brekfeast and the main street is somewhat empty and roses prepare for a new hot day at the sea……

The darkish pink one with a ton of petals looks like a Gertrude Jeckyll rose. I also thought that the red one with a ton of petals was a L.D.Braiwaithe. Other than that I just call them pretty flowers.
The pictures are lovely and I am jealous at seeing all those roses in one area. I only see a few varieties around here.

Many rose-labels were stolen ,so I took pics of roses without their names which intrigued me, too.But I am pleased you do like them, thanks for your comment!
All the best,
