Brave Ladybird indeed. But you can find them together with snow bells. Here in the Netherlands the snow bells are out and I have already seen a few ladybirds. I feel sorry for the ladybirds though, because they have nothing to eat. Hopefully they can go back in to hibernation till the aphids are out.
What a beautiful painting. A real joy to study in detail.

ladybirds are all around my home,already, and snowdrops are out, too.But it is still so cold here and we had a bit of snow today, the only way to survive is to enjoy some art…
